About
- Shri Muktanand College Library was established along with college in 1970 with 920 books.
- At present library has 38706 printed books and 03 periodicals/Journals.
- As well as E- shodh Sindhu consortium with access to 6,000 + e Journals, 1,99,500 + e books which can be accessed under N-LIST and 6,00,000 e books which can be access through NDL.
- Issue-return of books by using barcode scanner with the help of SOUL software.
- Students can search/browse the print resources of library by online public access catalogue (OPAC).

- Library having 26 nodes of Computers.

- Ind cat Consist three major components i.e. Books, thesis which are available in open access to users & librarian through inhouse developed web interface at (http://indcat.inflibnet .ac.in).
Rules and Regulation
Book Circulation Rules:
- A Book will be issued to the student only in exchange for one of his/her member account.
- A book should be returned to the Library on or before due date. If not penalty will be charged as per rule.
- Journals Publication , Dictionaries, Bound volumes and such other documents are only for reference use in the library.
- A book will be issued in Reading Room on the provision of I card.
- Before leaving the counter a member shall satisfy himself as to whether the book lent to him is in sound condition, and if not, he/she shall immediately bring the matter to the notice of the circulation assistant. Otherwise at the time of the returning of the book, he/she is liable to be asked to pay the cost or to purchase new copy of the book.
Stack Room Rules:
- Bags or other similar material is not allowed in stack room.
- While inside the Libraries and Reading room no member will be allowed to break the silence
- By talking or by action of any kind , eating food or sleep on the table etc.
- Do not damage any fitting , furniture , books or other kind reading material of the Library.
- Replace on the self any books or other reading material taken for use.
General Rules:
- Mobile is not allowed in the Library Campus.
